Coventry and Warwickshire is home to the UK’s automotive industry and we are proud of our reputation as a world-class centre for advanced manufacturing and engineering.
It seems a natural progression, therefore, that the region is also an established leader in the development of driverless technology and low carbon technologies. Although manufacturing is our bread and butter, the region is also home to one of the largest gaming clusters in the UK. Warwickshire has been named ‘Silicon Spa’ thanks to over 30 gaming studios.
We also have a whole host of tourist attractions, sports venues, theatres and historical sites so it is no surprise that Coventry was given the title of UK City of Culture 2021.
