English Tourism Week 2020

Throughout this week (25-31 May), Coventry and Warwickshire joins Visit England in celebrating English Tourism Week 2020.

As you will expect, many of our tourist venues remain temporarily closed during the current coronavirus outbreak and while this will unfortunately remain the case in coming weeks, Coventry and Warwickshire looks forward to re-opening our doors again soon, once it is safe to do so.

To hear more about what English Tourism Week means to our destination, Councillor Jim O'Boyle tells us more about the value we place on tourism in this short video. In addition, to read an open letter to MP's from Coventry City Council and the Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, you can do so here

To help in marking English Tourism Week, we have been sharing lots of our favourite photographs across our social channels, and we are thrilled to see so many of your own images too. If you'd like to view these, or share your own photographs with us; head over to our social channels here: TwitterFacebook and Instagram

In addition, there is still lots you can do to support our cultural offer online with many of our venues offering exhibition tours, masterclasses and theatre performances digitally, for you to enjoy from the safety of your own home. You can find links to some of these on the Visit Coventry website, or please check back to our social pages for more.
